Since 1946, Byars|Wright, Inc., has developed into a major provider of commercial and personal insurance with five offices across central Alabama. Still operating as a family-owned independent insurance agency today, the firm oversees the risk management and insurance needs organizations throughout the United States and represents numerous companies, all with a history of excellent service. Byars|Wright has been designated a Best Practices Agency by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America every year since entering the Best Practices Study in 2016. Byars|Wright was also named “Best Companies to Work For in Alabama” by Business Alabama in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 – winning first place in the mid-size category in 2020.
The agency employs more than 50 professionals, including the representatives contained within its Risk Management Services division. These individuals provide risk control, human resources, and claims consulting services.
