Since 1946, Byars|Wright, Inc., has developed into a major provider of commercial and personal insurance with four offices in the greater Birmingham area. Still operating as a family-owned independent insurance agency today, the firm oversees the risk management and insurance needs organizations throughout the United States and represents numerous companies, all with a history of excellent service. Byars|Wright has been designated a Best Practices Agency by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America and was also named “Best Companies to Work For in Alabama” by Business Alabama in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
The agency employs more than 50 professionals, including the 15 representatives contained within its Risk Management Services division. These individuals provide risk control, human resources, and claims consulting services.
